Here is my entry for this week’s Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge with the topic of Earth. To me earth means anything from the ground down. So I have really tried to concentrate on photos that have dirt or grass.

Dirt road through an iris field. Amazing how the same dirt in the road can produce those beautiful irises.
The view of our flowing iris and rhodies in our front yard. The is a maple tree in the background. Just think our dirt grew all that. Plus the grass.

Love the smell of damp earth! Though quite honestly, we’ve had more than enough rain!!!

I love all those photos but the cover one is … odd? At first I saw a fossilized beaver, then a clod of earth, then … well, I’m sticking with the beaver!
