Another wonderful iris and this colour makes me a little nostalgic to my days in London. We had these wonderful yellow iris with the tinge of red in our garden, my grandfather planted them and they returned every year. I believe it is a wild iris, very special as you no longer see them so much. There were some growing by a stream in our town, but due to renovations to the stream they were removed. I do not think the workers knew what they were taking away.
