Sunday Trees #236 – Schreiner’s Iris Gardens

This is my entry for Becca’s (from On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea blog) Sunday Trees – 236 challenge.  Chris and I went to Schreiber’s Iris Gardens today.  Here are a couple of photos of the gardens with trees in the background.

This a photo of their main garden area. The tallest trees are probably 60 feet in height or. Just to give you some perspective.

  1. Wow, I love those alliums! In the past I tried to grow them here in Alaska with no success. Chives do quite well though, faithfully coming up every spring. Since I know they are related perhaps I’ll give the alliums another try. The climate has definitely changed here, so there’s a chance!
