Love your photo selection, especially the last one, there is so much action in that photo and the b/w version really enhances it completely.

Your selection of photographs never disappoints! I really like all of them. The barn is an unusual shape. The young guy is so laid back. The traction engine is wonderful to look at. And the big ship coming into view from behind what looks like a traditionally built warehouse is a magnificent sight. Can I ask where this one was taken? Im guessing Alaska or Norway, but really haven’t a clue!

That photo was taken in Astoria, Oregon on the Columbia River. That building is actually a fancy hotel. It was building on the site of an old cannery. So they kept the building looking like the original. Including the window sizes. I stay there when I’m in Astoria so I can get the ocean liners and pampering from the hotel.

Views and pampering. Great combination! Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. 😊

Cee-did you see that you were nominated for a Blogger Bash Award? I think that was the title. There are certain categories with many bloggers listed and you were one of them. Of course, I voted for you! How cool is that!!?

I have noticed it. Only because someone else said to vote for their favorite blogger and she mentioned me and that she voted for me. I was shocked. Thanks for voting Lois. 😀 😀 😀

Saw the photo with the, hmm “big boat” (sorry my english fails me 😛 I think there´s another word for it?) and just had to “like” it. It is really special. Alive somehow… Captivating.

Hi Cee, I like the shipyard the best. I’ve got news! A friend introduce me to an airport photographer. We are making plans for me to do a ride alone with her as she takes photos. I hope I also get to take photos with her. I may have to do a background check first. I’ll keep you updated. Phyllis

Hi Cee,
I enjoyed all of your pictures – but if I had to pick just one it would be the vintage tractor.

A wonderful selection! The first one makes me smile 🙂 I love the way you’ve captured the clouds in the ocean liner shot – their softness contrasts beautifully with the clean, sharp lines and shadows of the building. (I’m still working on my B&W … always more for me to learn 😉 )
