1. Wow. I have never ever seen roses like this. I don’t even love roses, but these are gorgeous..Like roses mated with gardenias or poppies!!!

   • I’m not a big rose fan either. I will take them from time to time. And just think Portland is known as the city of roses. I took this photo a couple years ago at the peony gardens I go to.

     • Occasionally I’ll see one like this that I love. I think it is the plant that I don’t like. The plant itself does not seem to have grace and beauty. The flower independent of the plant sometimes, as in this case, has great beauty. I don’t like red roses. Yellow and orange ones are friendlier.

       • I like the heritage roses (old fashioned) ones the best of all. The plants to me are ugly too. I didn’t think of it until you said something. 😀
