Share Your World – 2016 Week 25

screenshot_337With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.

How many languages do you you speak?

What are some words that just make you smile?

If you were the original architect of one existing building, which building would you select?

Would you rather have telepathy or telekinesis?  (Telepathy is the communication using your brain waves, telekinesis is channeling the energy onto physical objects to cause substantial, observable physical changes.)

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

How many languages do you you speak? American English is the only language I speak.  Sometimes pug language.  I took German in High School and was semi-fluid in that, basically because I had a pen pal in Germany.  I remember only a few words now.

What are some words that just make you smile?  Delicious, adore, car ride (because MacKenzie gets so excited), welcome, smile, sunshine, rain showers, flowers, adore, adoration, thoughtful.

If you were the original architect of one existing building, which building would you select?

Ever since I was a child I have loved the shapes and color of St Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, Russia.  And t think it was built in the mid 1500s just boggles my mind.

I also like some of the eco-designs architects are coming up with for skyscrapers.

Would you rather have telepathy or telekinesis?  Tough choice, bend spoons or manipulate objects would be real fun.  But I like telepathy better.  I’d prefer to know how someone is really feeling.  I always like Deanna Troi on Star Trek the Next Generation.  I thought she was a great character.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was a fun week.  Nothing spectacular happen, it was just fun.  This week I think will end up being the same.  Just small little things that add up to a lot of fun and happiness..

    1. There are a couple things I remember. I just never claim to know it … because after 30+ years I forget what means what since I was never totally fluent. I was okay reading it through letters with my friend, but ……

  1. I love those churches with the “onions” on top. There was a beautiful one in Jerusalem that took my breath away.

But whatever that lego-like building is with the trees in it? That’s absolutely spectacular!

  2. Thanks again for some great questions. Loved reading your answers and I have to agree, the St Basil’s Cathedral is stunning. Definitely something I’d like to see in real. My post will be up later today. It’s scheduled.
