This current series consists of a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
This week’s topic is Fountains. They can be huge outdoor fountains to the tiniest of indoor zen fountains. Just have fun with this challenge. Use your imagination if you want for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

Thanks for the feature. At times I wonder from where you get so many variety of images in the same topic, like this one of the fountains, that’s the best thing to adore of a photographer. Lovely fountain pics and another amazing challenge 🙂

You are so very welcome Subhash. I have gathered these photo throughout the last ten years. It’s nice having as many photos as I do. I also have always been a nerd about keywording too. You will get there. Just keep on doing what you are.

I love your pictures! However, I do not believe I have a single fountain amongst my photographs and there are no fountains in town … or, for that matter, anywhere in the valley. We have lots of dams and waterfalls, but no fountains at all. Even fountains for drinking are very rare.
The closest (only) one I can think of is in Boston and we are not going there. Right now, our town has a “boiled or bottled water ONLY” status for everyone on town water due to e coli pollution. We are NOT on town water having our own well, so even were there a fountain, it would be turned off until they figure out how to un-pollute the water. Town water currently unsafe for drinking or cooking. How ironic! Not for the first time, I am grateful we are not on town sewer or water services.
Uxbridge is not having a really great summer.
Have a great week!

Marvelous fountain photos! They are all so peaceful looking. I am now kicking myself for all the fountains I have walked by without taking a picture of! I do have one I have been saving for awhile though.

Love your fountains. The last b/w fountain shot is the one I like best. It shows running water at its best.
We have 11 fountains in our local town, actually it is an 11 town, the cathedral steps are divisible by 11 and we have 11 statues. This does not mean I have a photo of them all, so will have to investigate my resources.

That is cool that your town is 11. 😀

I like the first one especially, where is that? I also like the way you can see the droplets on the third one. I was thinking of trying to photograph droplets hanging on my new weeping maple tree – when it stops raining for long enough to go outside and do it 🙂 Here is mine. Thank goodness for archives.
