Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Store Front Signs

063016bw_1This week’s Cee’s Black and White Photo Challenge (CB&W) topic is Store Front Signs.  You can show off any store or business front you want.  The more names and signs the better.  Have a lot of fun with this topic.  Sepia tones and selective color are always allowed in this challenge.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list at below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white

  1. Oh dear, Cee! I have so few storefront signs — you have seen these before I think, though I had fun using saturation to remove color intensity while still keeping a tinge of hue. Hope you enjoy them, and congrats on your interview. Will read it in a quiet moment!

      • Thankyou it has been many months in the build up, like so many things I have to build up and plan things especially when so many other photographers like yourself are amazing and mine are not quite the same standard. It took a while to accept that with the weight of camera I can use and my limited balance and views I am at a point where I feel ready to share 😀
