I lived on Gladiola Circle for 17 years and couldn’t get one gladiola to grow in my garden. I look at them in a different way, like maybe they don’t like me. 🙂
Have gladiolas in my yard that were planted by the previous owner of the house. They bloom with vibrant colors but mine always flop over after a few days. The stalks get so tall that they can’t hold up their own weight!
Almost everyday I look at your flower pictures and say to my self, “That’s one of my favorites.” It dawned on me today, all your pictures are beautiful and I don’t know my real favorite with flowers….I like them all. : )

More likely they don’t like the soil and/or climate you lived in. 😀
