This is my entry for Becca’s (from On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea blog) Sunday Trees – 244 challenge.

Willamette Mission State Park in late Autumn.

The other ‘big feature’ of the park is the Nation’s Largest Black Cottonwood – it’s been around for over 250 years.  It on the bank of the mile-long oxbow lake – Mission Lake, along with an array of grassy meadows, flowering shrubs, trees and outstanding bird and wildlife viewing. — from their website

  1. You did a great job of capturing the quiet beauty. I was there today and saw the green walnuts! And several plump squirrels. 😃
