There are several things happening in my little corner of the world.
The first thing I want to announce is that Chris has started blogging again and she is reviving her old 61 Musings blog. So go on over and see what she is up to. She did participate in Share Your World this week.
Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge is going to start again next, Wednesday, July 27. A few of you have said how much you miss this challenge so I thought I would start it back up again. Same day, same time. Here is a short list of possible subjects for you to keep in mind as you are out on photo shoots.
- Roads, Parking lots, driveways
- Indoor and Outdoor Walkways: hallways, aisles, people movers, sidewalks, paths, trails, stairs, elevators, escalators, etc.
- Railway Tracks
- Runways
- Tunnels
- Signs of any kind: directional, informational, store signs, wind vanes
Cee’s Compose Yourself Photo Challenge is now called Cee’s Compose Yourself Lessons. I’ll still be doing this once a month (last week of the month), but not necessarily on a specific day of the week. Gold Star Awards will still be granted for those who want to participate in the lessons.
Thank you for your input and help in picking out a new theme for my blog. I’ve also adjusted the top menu and sidebar somewhat. You may want to see what all I changed. I do have one last question for you regarding my comment section. Would you prefer to me break comments into separate pages so you don’t have to scroll down so long to comment. If you have an opinion, please add a comment below.
This last one is just for bloggers who live in Oregon and Washington. Would you like me to organize a “Meet and Greet somewhere” for all of us. I would look for a place semi-central and that would be good for photography as well as a nice pretty place for people to write, paint and gather. And yes, a lunch out would be nice too so we can make a day of it. If anyone is interested, please feel free to contact me.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee
I actually like reading other comments before I post mine, so I don’t mind the scroll down. Interested to see what others think. I really do like this theme. Very clean and so nicely organized. Heading over to check out Chris…

I prefer the scrolling too. And apparently so does everyone else … at those who commented 😀

I don’t mind scrolling down the comments. I prefer everything load at once personally.
I think at meet and greet is a fun idea, though I don’t think my anxiety and finances would allow me to attend personally. I’d love to read about it and feel jealous of those who do though. 🙂

I think I like this theme for your blog better than the old one. It’s cleaner looking somehow (did that make sense?). How I wish i lived in the northwest so i could go to that meet and greet you are speaking of. sigh..off to check out the 61 musings now. ❤

glad to her Chris is blogging again, I have already popped over for a visit. I must say I have really enjoyed the CCYC or Lessons, I have learned a lot, but hopefully switching to monthly will be a bit easier and perhaps less stressful. I have a lot of my plate myself now, so I don’t know how you keep all theses challenges straight and up to date! Keep up the good work. PS I like the new layout

Thanks Julz. My challenges are easy to manage. The lessons get tricky sometimes. 😀

I enjoy reading the comments also. If there are a lot and I don’t have the time then I can quickly get to the end if I want to but comments are often fun to read.

I, too, prefer to scroll down rather than having to go to different pages.

The site looks good.
I like having a month to work on the lessons. It gives me time to think about things and experiment, even when life gets a bit busy.
I would be interested in a “meet and greet”.

Glad you like this site. Could you please “Contact Me”, your link doesn’t work. So far I have one other person interested in a meet and greet. Thanks.

Loved Chris’s blog. Followed it. I could not resist it after reading she is a fellow mystery lover and introvert. Looking forward to reading more on there.
