Share Your World – 2016 Week 31

With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.

080116clownWhat is your favorite part of the town/city you live in.  And what Country do you live?

Would you rather wear clown shoes every day or a clown wig every day?

Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under?

What do you do to make a living or during the day?  If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying?

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

What is your favorite part of the town/city you live in.  And what Country do you live?  There are a lot of things I like about my town.  Although since it is ever so close to prime dahlia season I would have to say Swan Island Dahlias.  Canby is home to the America’s largest dahlia farm.

Would you rather wear clown shoes every day or a clown wig every day?  I think I would have to go for the wig.  The shoes are uncomfortable according to Chris (check out her revived blog) who has been a clown.

Which way does the toilet paper roll go? Over or under?  Over. Need I say more.

What do you do to make a living or during the day?  If you are retired what mostly occupies your day? Or if you are a student what are you studying?

Blogging now for the most part.  When I was working I used to be a Sales Administrative Assistant.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was another fun week.  Nothing overly special, but yet everything was special.  I can some good chats with my sister and her family and some bloggers too.  I’m glad everyone was excited to see my Which Way Challenge back.  This week, I’d just like some more of the same please.

      1. I’m glad you’re getting do the one that you prefer. 🙂 I think the job that I have done the best at was retail merchandising, but I much prefer blogging to redesigning a beer cooler. I have yet to have a blog land on my head, but have had beer land on my head on multiple occasions. Light beer is a lie. 🙂

  1. I must say you have some wonderful farms where you live. If it isn’t the iris, it is the dahlia. Nice clown photo, nice and colourful. I think you will be getting many photos of toilet rolls on this challenge. I know I went to the bathroom with my phone camera to take a quick shot.

    1. Clowns should be fun, but a lot of clowns scare kids and dress scary. That is why Chris never painted her face. This way the kids knew she was a person dressed up. So I completely understand your dislike of clowns.

  2. I cannot live in the same place for very long, even when it is almost perfect. Therefore, I love my lifestyle of house and pet sitting (I adore dogs), so I get to see and experience different places all the time. 🙂 Favorite factors: warm weather and peaceful environment (with internet).

I love the toilet roll question. It is one of those things… I am very open-minded, but I feel there is only one answer to this question and that is OVER! 🙂 That being said, I can usually refrain myself from turning the roll around when I come across “under” rolls. Except when it is in a house where I will spend several weeks or months.

  3. I was disappointed to read that the clown shoes are uncomfortable. The ones in the photo you took are so cute that I wanted a pair until reading that they’re uncomfortable. I’m glad you had a week that felt special, even though nothing really out of the ordinary happened. That’s just the best mental space to be in. I somehow slipped out of feeling that way and have been trying to get back there. I’m happy for you that you’re there!
