2. Quite an old tree. I wonder how it would look in B&W with the contrast of sunlight and shadow and the different textures?

4. What is it about trees that just becon you to take their picture.
   Though, technically, palm trees are a closer relative to grass, I’m taking advantage of them being thought of as trees to share this photograph taken about five in the afternoon.

   • Sorry I don’t know. I’m lousy at identifying trees. I’m starting to get better, but I took that photo years ago and I didn’t get photos for the leaves so I have no way of identifying it. 😀

       Are there any rules or guidelines for this tree thing? I looked on their site, but I couldn’t find anything telling me the expectations. I have lots of tree pictures that I could use for it, but I don’t know exactly what they are looking for.

       • I think Becca’s Tree Challenge is pretty open to anything from a leaf to a full blown tree. Go for it. 😀
