Share Your World – 2016 Week 32

RTqRiaqohM_1408923549916With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?

What is the worst thing you ate this last recently?

You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?

List of Jobs You Think You Might Enjoy: Even if you aren’t thinking about a career change, it can be fun to think of other jobs you might enjoy.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?  It would have to be cheese.  And if it had to be only one type of cheese, probably swiss cheese.  I would think the entire category cheese counts though.

ea4f4c5c1b70ec2dea9035e56b8fd023What is the worst thing you ate this last recently?  Chris bought me a cheese cake fairly recently.  It was from our local market and their bakery is known for being good.  It had raspberries on it.  Looked gorgeous.  I am someone who eats the topping first, the cake, then the crust.  So I had the raspberries and sauce on top. Then I tried to get my first piece of cheesecake.  As I cut it with my fork it started to crumble.  It had barely a crust of graham cracker crust more like a dusting.  I tried to pick up with crumbled pieces with my fork, but it would not stick to the fork or the cheese cake itself.  The cheesecake was so dry.  I ended up throwing it away.

You are comfortable doing nothing?  I never thought I would say yes to this question.  Most of the time I can be content while doing nothing.  Although I think it is real hard to do absolutely nothing.  I don’t need music or the television on.  I’m super good at doing one thing at a time, rather than multi-tasking.  Most times if I am “doing nothing”, I will be waiting for something to happen.  So I end up doing a little seated qigong and just stay in a mindful spot.

List of Jobs You Think You Might Enjoy: Even if you aren’t thinking about a career change, it can be fun to think of other jobs you might enjoy.

My jobs are dreams of what I could have been, realistic or unrealistic.

  • Architect –  I love making house designs
  • Math Professor at a University (like Charlie on Numb3rs)
  • Volcanologist
  • Tornado Chaser
  • A Teacher of Art of Photography (not the technical drab of a camera)
  • Physically fit body like the Ninja’s.  So that would be a personal trainer and teacher.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?  Last week was another fun week full of little adventures.  Life is just throwing me some fun new things to be excited about.  It is also nice to be healthy enough to enjoy some extra activities.  Next week, looks like more of the same will be going on.

Qi (energy) hugs

Cee

  1. Your first job choice is what I wanted to be when I grew up. Your second job choice focus is what kept me from pursuing it. David and I are storm chasers. We’ve always enjoyed it, but we haven’t done it in a very long time. It is my hope to be able to get great lightning and tornado photos some day.

I’m sorry that the cheesecake was a disappointment. I couldn’t have eaten one like you had because I am allergic to raspberries, but I love cherry cheesecake as well as strawberry cheesecake, especially strawberry cheesecake. I like them plain, too.

I’m glad that you’re feeling better and able to do fun stuff again. That is great!

    Have a blessed day. 🙂

  2. I live in Switzerland and so am surrounded by Swiss cheese, but I prefer english and some italian – I can only eat the hard cheeses. The soft cheese has lactose and I am allergic. I am also very carefull with bought pastry. There are one or two I know are OK for me, otherwise I am very suspicious – you never know how they are made.

    1. I like Swiss cheese to eat. It is harder and I like the taste. But then I like more bitter flavors than sweet. I don’t like any of the real soft cheese. I bet you are surrounded by Swiss cheese. I may never think of Swiss cheese the same.

  3. aww, man, I looooove a super-dry cheesecake! My fav ever required a mouth full of liquid to be able to swallow it.
I don’t know if you follow Art&Tea but she just had an online photo course… $40 for 6 week and it was really just topics (like your photo challenge) and polite critiques. Might be a way for you to explore that career option!

  4. Cee, my sons are right there with you on the cheese boat, as evidenced by the pounds of assorted varieties I’m constantly bringing home from Costco. Great challenge! Thanks for this. My submission is above this comment at Views From Around the Corner.

  5. Architecture would be a good career choice too. I do enjoy good design although I tend towards liking classic rather than modern architecture so probably would not get hired much. Your cheescake sounds awful and must have been very disappointing. At least if something looks bad you have low expectations.

    1. I could see me doing it. Chris was a storm chaser years ago in the Army (she got trained as a meteorologist). So we did a little bit of it in Colorado, although we stay extremely safe from danger. 😀
