Candid at Swan Island Dahlias.

With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.

List 2 things you have to be happy about?

If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?

Should children be seen and not heard?

List at least five of your favorite first names.

Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer three random questions each week.
  • Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
    • Making a List out of a topic
    • Completing the sentence I start
    • Answering a Would you Rather question
  • Bonus Question is always the same  “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

List 2 things you have to be happy about?  Oh there are so many things to be happy about.  The biggest thing I guess is that I am alive and healthy.  Still got some mending to do, but I’m happy and healthy.  Dahlias always make me happy.  Seeing people and loved ones smile and laugh always make me smile and happy.  The list could be endless.

If you could take a photograph, paint a picture or write a story of any place in the world, what and where would it be?  I’m really going out on limb here.  I would love to photograph a live volcano.  Not one that blows up in your face but something like Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Mt. Kilauea and the volcanic sites of Hawaii.  I think it would be awesome to take photos from a helicopter.

Should children be seen and not heard?  As far as I cam concerned children must be heard and seen.

List at least five of your favorite first names.

Girl Names:  Christine, Alexandra, Sydney, MacKenzie, Cassandra, Addison, Hannah, Gabrielle,

Boy Names:  Michael, Benjamin, Alexander, Jason, Samuel, Sean, Nathaniel

  1. I think I gave up on favourite names many years ago. Must admire your choice. The thing with the volcano is great, but I do not think I would survive the helicopter flight. I had enough problems with the one over New York City, I did not feel so well. One thing is so true, you can have everything, but if you are not healthy, then you cannot enjoy what you have.

  2. I think getting an active volcano shot would be great and being in a helicopter to do it would be very exciting. I love risk-taking photography. Although I was surrounded by alligators at a local park, I never got the shot that I wanted and that was one of a ‘gator with its mouth wide open intending to snack on something. I’ve chased storms trying to get lightning photographs and tornadoes. Maybe some day.

It appears that we feel the same way about children. 🙂

I enjoyed your post and we look forward to these questions each week.

One of us will post David’s link once he makes his post. It will also be linked at the bottom of my post.

    Have a blessed day!

  3. You always come up with such interesting questions, some of which are not easy to answer because they require choices I’m not ready to make. But they’re fun!

  4. I LOVE your photographing a volcano idea! Plus, I agree 100% with your assessment of children — mine often shock me with the truth of what they see and say. 🙂
