With your answers, please remember we are in the SYW world which may not always match our reality.
Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewerly?
What is your greatest strength or weakness?
What makes you feel grounded?
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along. If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me. You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you. Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want. Have a fabulous week everyone!!
Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.
Here is the basic format. I will ask you:
- To answer three random questions each week.
- Respond to a fourth item (I will randomly chose from this list)
- Making a List out of a topic
- Completing the sentence I start
- Answering a Would you Rather question
- Bonus Question is always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?” Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.
I will post four different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate.
- Create a SYW post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
- Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.
I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.
HERE ARE MY ANSWERS
Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewelry? I don’t have a pet rock nor have I ever owned one. I am a rock hound though. I always have some kind of polished rock on my desk. And Chris has a bowl made out of malachite.
What is your greatest strength or weakness? I think my greatest strength is my ability to turn the bad into good. It is hard to explain, but when something bad happens, I tend to find the rainbow or silver lining and hold on to that and not the icky stuff.
What makes you feel grounded? Anything in nature. As long as I can feel the wind against my face, the warmth of the sun, see the trees, feel the dirt, watch the ocean, I always feel grounded. I will oftentimes take a walk and pick a leaf and just hold it or grab a rock or two.
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food? I don’t eat cold food already, so that would be easy to never eat again. Serve it to me room temperature or preferably hot.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I’m glad my trip to my sister and brother-in-law house is over. I had a wonderful time. We had lots to share and my sister showed me lots of her town and surrounding area. Although it is wonderful to be home and sleeping in my own bed again. I’ve pretty much caught up on sleep and getting back into a routine. Chris and I have dinner plans to meet up with one of my sister’s high school friend, Mark. He lives here in the Portland area and I haven’t seen him in nearly 40 years. Yikes.
