We are on to the next series which is all about Buildings.

This week the topic is Houses and/or Barns.  This week I want to see houses of all sorts anything from from a small shack to apartments to mansions.  I also am curious where we keep our pets and animals so barns, chicken house, and dog houses are allowed as well.  Have tons fun with this challenge this week.  Use your imagination if you want for this theme.  The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.

Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

  4. Nice photos. I like barns. For ten years I passed a barn on the way to work. Despite no longer being used, it stood tall. But it looked lonely. Then it began to lean, showing its age. It leaned more and more until one day I passed a pile of old barn wood. Not long after a couple fellows from the city negotiated with the rancher for the wood. He laughed later at the high price he got. They laughed at the low price they gave. Everybody was happy. And that old barn got to spend its final days in family rooms watching television and kids play.

  14. That was interesting and nice to see how it looks in other parts. We have no barns where I live, just cow sheds which are really not worth taking a photo of, nothing special.
