We are on to the next series which is all about Buildings.
This week the topic is Commercial or Industrial Buildings. This week I want to see buildings of where we all work. Big skyscrapers, factories and huge warehouses that store commercial products or edible foods. A commercial building can also be a small building for those smaller stores and shops. Have tons fun with this challenge this week. Use your imagination if you want for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to post these photos. I didn’t think they’d be interesting for all to see.
Hope you enjoy my take on the challenge this week, Cee.
I love the last photo. Small towns have a charm about them. You captured that in your photograph.

I did like your photos and I would say the Canal is definitely a business. 😀

The Panama Canal is totally industrial. It’s only use is transportation of cargo ship with supplies to and from South America and other neighboring countries including the US. Cruise ships going to South America and up to San Francisco take the canal too. Glad you found the post enjoyable. 😎

Hi Cee. Thank you so much for featuring my pictures about houses this week. I’m humbled and excited. I went this morning to take pictures for the new challenge but I didn’t remember it was was about comercial BUILDINGS and I returned home with lots of pictures of nice old shops, some of them 150 years old or more.

Fantastic gallery ..Cee!!!! My pick has to be Nordstrom’s – it has a Swedish founder, John Nordstrom. Came fo USA when he was 16 years old with 5 dollars in his pocket. and didn’t speak one word of English. His first shop opened up in Seattle. Nordstrom Rack .. my favorite store all time! Here is my entry http://wp.me/p293Pw-dJc

One of the only things I like about the big steel and glass tower blocks is how great they are at reflecting their surroundings like the one in your fourth photo. I love the colours in the second photo too and the little street in Idaho Falls is very similar to streets I have seen in older parts of Australian cities, probably of a similar age.

Thanks for your comment. I like the reflective qualities of big sky scrapers but don’t really care for them either. 😀
