I love the colours and the composition. It was amazing for me to see bearded irises growing wild this year. I always think of them as a cultivated plant.
I hadn’t thought of that, but that would certainly spread them around. I saw them in or around the Ozarks – my geography is not the best! I thought perhaps there had been houses there at one time and now only the bulbs are left.

Animals will often dig up bulbs and place them somewhere else. That is how they start growing in the wild. Or at least one reason for it.
