I love these and had a bunch when we lived in Cleveland. They’re quite prolific and invasive, though, a bit like mint only orange. 🙂

Isn’t there a famous Monet painting with little girls holding these? Now I want to look it up!!

Just looked it up; they are holding real Chinese lanterns in the Monet painting. I saw it at an exhibit a few years ago and could not take my eyes off it. Your post was delightful to remind me of this.
