Share Your World – 2016 Week 52

3d-printer-used-to-make-ice-creamWhat’s your favorite ice-cream flavor?

If you were to treat yourself to the “finer things” what would you treat yourself to?

Have you ever been drunk?

Complete this sentence: My favorite supposedly guilty pleasure is…

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer fours questions each week.
  • Bonus Question is always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

maxresdefaultWhat’s your favorite ice-cream flavor?  I rarely eat ice cream because I simply don’t eat cold or frozen foods.  But if I do, cookie dough or some mocha blend.

If you were to treat yourself to the “finer things” what would you treat yourself to?  I’m not into fancy cars or houses.  I would hire a personal cook and housekeeper though.

Have you ever been drunk?  Nope.  There was a time in my mid twenties, I tried drinking a little bit (never to the point I got drunk though).  I never liked the thought of being out of control.

Complete this sentence: My favorite supposedly guilty pleasure is… most people would think chocolate.  Okay my mind pretty much went to food for this question.  I pretty well let me have all the chocolate I want.  Must meet the 75 or higher percent of dark chocolate though.  I used to have a little bit daily.  Now not so much.  A non-food answer is play games on my computer.  Just the simple little games from bigfishgames.com – nothing to extravagant.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   I’m really glad last week is over.  It wasn’t the best week in my life.  I’ve been kind of in a funk because I’ve not been outside nearly as much I normally would.  Too cold.  And for me that is a health concern.  I did get to video talk with Beth and Cassie (my sister’s daughter) while John was sleeping in his recliner still recovering from surgery.  That was my highlight for last week.  Chris and I did go out and take a few Christmas photos last night.  I’m starting to play a little bit with night photography….rather late sunset photography.  Here are a couple of photos from yesterday.

  1. Sorry to hear you were in a funk. Weather can do that to me. The good news is, it is constantly changing, and warmer days will return. I love your night photography. I often try to take photos in low light and the dark. I experiment between flash and no flash. A flash attachment that I can bounce is my next camera purchase. I hope you have a good week! ☺

  2. I like to feel warm, cuddled up in a blanket, etc. if I am eating ice cream on a cold day in winter. Those photos of the Christmas lights are great. I’ve never eaten cookie dough ice cream, but I hear it is delicious. Having a housekeeper would be great if I could get over having others having to clean up after me.

  3. Those are great photos, Cee. I especially love the first one. I’m sorry that you didn’t get to go outside much last week. I don’t get to go outside much either, but it isn’t usually due to the weather. It is because of selfish neighbors. I think our winter is over already. It was in the 80s today. 🙂

Way back when I was drinking, the sole purpose was to get drunk, hoping to forget things that I couldn’t forget. Didn’t work and wasn’t worth it. Now, age is working on taking care of the forgetting bit. haha

I hope that you have a most wonderful and creative 2017!

  4. We haven’t gotten out much this past week either. Same reason. Too cold for an asthmatic … or it was raining … or something else came up. I suppose I’m sort of used to this since winter’s in this part of the country are usually pretty cold. Today, though, it’s unusually warm. Go figure, right? Feel better!

  5. I wish you a restful new week and plenty of good weather to be out and about in. I love the light pictures. I have let the cold keep me from taking the ones I want to take. Time is running out! 🙂
