This week the topic is Perspective. This week is all about things with a slightly different perspective or slightly different view than the normal. Artistically skew your horizon. Have a lot of fun and be creative with this topic. I am eager to see what everyone comes up with regarding this topic. I just want you to have some fun with your photography.
NOTE: I am now allowing desaturated colors in this challenge. The color can be barely noticeable. Just another slight twist to black and white.
For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below. Be creative and challenge yourself. For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.
Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

I love the desaturated flower. Looking at the tracks makes me think what a scary ride that would be if those tracks were really going up, or for that matter coming down. Here is my link. https://aseasonandatime.blogspot.com/2017/02/cees-black-white-photo-challenge.html

Hi Cee. I’ve never taken photos of railroad tracks. They’re very interesting.
Love the desaturated flower too. It has a different prospective.
Hope you enjoy my entry.

That was one of my first attempt at tracks I was above them. It turned out pretty cool but I would never take that photo today. A lucky beginner shot.

For obvious reason, I’m going to have to use existing pictures since I have no software at the moment. I’m hoping I’ll have it all back together next week, but in the meantime … well .. i like your sideway rail tracks. I feel very sideways myself right now!

I like the idea of including desaturated colours, Cee. Your flower is a great example of what you mean – a hint of colour but still allows our eyes to concentrate on shapes and textures.
A good theme, as I’ve set myself a target of paying with viewpoints and aerial views where possible (not a natural tendency for me!). So here we are: https://travelwithintent.com/2017/02/16/spiral-vertigo-guggenheim-new-york-wright/

Nice photos, Cee. The desaturated flower and the underbelly of the plane are my favorites this week. The tail of the plane could almost be a whale’s tail.

I love the desaturated photo of your flower. It’s a great idea to include that in the challenge. Didn’t work with my subjects this week (although the sky is ever so slightly tinged blue) but I’m looking forwarded to playing around with it soon.
