Hand pushing elevator button

Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous (for example if you are visiting a big city you don’t know?)

Describe yourself in at least four uplifting words.

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I sincerely hope you enjoy my questions for this week and find the questions interesting enough to play along.   If you ever want me to ask anything specific, please feel free to contact me.  You don’t think a lot about these questions, unless of course it is FUN for you.  Simply dream and just let loose, or you let your alter ego answer if you want.   Have a fabulous week everyone!!

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

Here is the basic format.  I will ask you:

  • To answer fours questions each week.
  • Bonus Question is always the same “What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?”  Because we all need to be reminded that there are many things in our lives to be grateful about.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?  I may have when I was younger.  Now I will only press it more than once if I don’t think I hit it correctly.

Do you plan out things usually or do you do them more spontaneous (for example if you are visiting a big city you don’t know?)  Chris and I are more spontaneous than anything else.  We may have a general idea of where we are going, but nothing specifically planned except to explore.  There was on trip we planned on testing out a new tent trailer we bought on the Colorado plains (eastern Colorado) in the winter.  As we were leaving our neighborhood and we had to wait for a train.  We talked and decided to go visit some friends in Southern Arizona and visit the Grand Canyon instead.

Describe yourself in at least four uplifting words.  Caring, thoughtful, creative, good listener.

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, hot tub, ski resort, ocean cruise or desert?  Can I chose two things.  It would be the ocean, the smell of the salt ocean air, wind and sound of the waves are absolutely intoxicating.  Although fresh water lakes is appealing too.  It would have to be a bigger lake because I adore moving water.  It would also need a lot trees and undergrowth.  Ahh the smell of fresh trees and water.

This is what Mac is not doing this morning.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   Still having computer internet issues.  It’s my new computer that is having the issue.  This morning I’m using my old computer which doesn’t have my photos or Photoshop on it.  Last week ended up on a high note.  The week everything  got better and better.  I’m assuming this week will be just as magical.  I have to take Miss MacKenzie into the vets today to get her nails clipped.  They have to sedate her, she won’t let anyone touch her feet.

    1. Just think I thought we were the only ones. My Mac is an adopted dog and we’ve had her 10-11 years. We’ve never been able to touch her feet. And now since she is getting older, she is even worse.

      1. Poptart is a rescue and we’ve only had him for about six months. We give him a sedative and wrap him in a blanket to clip his nails. Since he only weighs six pounds — tops, he’s easy enough to keep wrapped (with a muzzle, a blanket, and drugs — but it has to be done). Interestingly, it’s easier to do my cat’s nails. He just waits impatiently until the last nail before voicing his displeasure at the whole ordeal.

  1. These are GREAT questions. I had a lot of fun with them.

Our dogs hate getting their feet done too, but they do them while they are getting groomed. I won’t go near them. Black claws on black paws? No, not me!

  2. My husband and I are such opposites: I push the button once. He pushes…..several times. For luck. I am a fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants kind of gal. He is a planner. Somehow it all works out! Miss MacKenzie is so cute about not liking her feet touched. I think that is adorable.

  3. Our youngest daughter loves the beach. In fact, she goes to a college that is on an island in the Gulf of Mexico. She loves it. Our oldest daughter does not like the water. She almost drowned as a young girl and it still bothers her. Check out my answers at Share Your World

  4. I hope all computer issues will be resolved. There are few things that make crazier than an unruly operating system or wacky wi-fi. Miss Mac is adorable. Hope her mani went well. Much love and light to you, Chris, and the household.

        1. Actually I thought this, my old, computer was in the process of dying, but after I got my new computer, I figured out what was wrong with it. So it is a nice backup computer for me. And I can keep it totally mobile and have my new one hooked up to my external drives.
