Share Your World – March 20, 2017

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

So, you’re on your way out and it’s raining. Do you know where your umbrella is or do you frantically search for it all over your apartment/house?

Do you recharge your energy by going out with friends for a good time or by spending with quiet time alone?

Name three things you and your spouse, partner or best friend  to have in common.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? I know for the most part I don’t feel nearly as old as I am.  I just remember when I was a kid and my grandparents were around my age now, I thought of them as old.  Now mind you a 7 year has no idea what old is or feels like.  I’m 56 and still have no idea as to what old is.  I do know that there are times I feel physically old but that is days when old lymes stuff acts up.

So, you’re on your way out and it’s raining. Do you know where your umbrella is or do you frantically search for it all over your apartment/house?  I live in Oregon and we rarely use umbrellas.  The photo at the top of this post is a reason to use an umbrella to keep things dry.  We usually just walk in the rain and maybe use the hood on our jacket.  The only time I see umbrellas is when photographers use a tripod and they hold an umbrella to protect their camera and then usually use a remote to shoot the photo.

Do you recharge your energy by going out with friends for a good time or by spending with quiet time alone?  Most definitely quite time alone.  It can be in the house or out in nature.  Just not with a lot of people.

Name three things you and your spouse, partner or best friend  to have in common.  We are both spiritual, compassionate and truly honor each other and the people we know.  We also love to explore new places.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?   Last week was a magical week for me.  It’s been super busy because I’ve had a lot of appointments outside of the house and so has Chris.  But I like the synchronicity that we are feeling these days with the universe.  We are trying new things out with the way we eat.  And so far we have been eating much smarter.

I bought a season pass for the tulip fields.  They aren’t that bloomed out yet, but this gives me permission to enter an hour before and after their working hours so I can get close to the golden hours.  It will be fun to see the fields bloom.  I plan on going weekly (or more often).  So hopefully I’ll get some interesting photos over the next few weeks.

In fact we were out there last night about an hour before sunset where I got this photo of some display tulips and a gorgeous photo of Mt Hood (see my Cee’s Showcase of Photography for today).

Qi (energy) hugs

  1. I live in Washington state, and we don’t use umbrellas much up here either. 🙂 One day, I’ll go see the tulips. I be they’re quite the sight. I think there’s a farm up this way too.

    1. There is a farm up in Washington, I just don’t know where it is for sure. I only lives 20 minutes from Wooden Shoe. In full bloom, the fields are simply spectacular. 😀

  2. Oh how beautiful! I love tulips. Some of the universities around here have had tulips in their landscaping. I think that Baylor was one of them. Just beautiful and how blessed you are to be able to go during prime photography hours!

Here is the link for my post: Share Your World.

    Have a blessed evening. 🙂

  3. The tulip fields sound like a nice place. Here in Texas our flowers just grow. Most of them are just wild flowers. This time of year is bluebonnet season. Wildflowers are one of the best things about Texas. It is almost time for the rattlesnake roundup. I think you have to have tickets to see that. I think I would pay to not see anymore snakes. We have had enough in our kitchen. You can see my post here.

    1. Oh yes, I borrowed your first picture with the umbrella and backpack set down on the road. Thank you, I didn’t know if that was appropriate for this meme or not. So I did it. I gave you credit.
