Tuesdays of Texture Week 13 of 2017

Here is my entry for Del Monte Y Mar’s Tuesdays of Texture Challenge Week 13 of 2017.

Last week I happened to come across some gorgeous birch trees and I so adore their bark.

Doesn’t this look like an eye. Cyclops perhaps?

I just adore the thin layers of bark on birch trees.

Two Birch trees intertwined.

  1. I think I see a face in the first picture – the tiny leaves and the lines compose of an eye while the lines below kinda looks like a mouth.

  2. I love the way it perfectly peels. Beautiful image of trunks together. Thanks for sharing this Cee! Have a great week.

  3. Very beautiful close-ups. We have so many birch trees in our area (south georgian bay ontario) and they shed their bark everywhere. Part of outdoor life here.
