A new one for me. Is it also called coral bells? If so, not new. But oh so pretty.

I didn’t know the name of this. I searched on the web and only found the “formal” name, so you could very well be right.

Wow! Abundance! Are the bees able to get inside those or are they more for the birds with long beaks? 🙂

Thanks Amy. 😀 They also come in white. I’ve seen them at the nurseries around here.

I have never heard of Pieris, but it is a very beautiful bush. This time I had to look in the German version to see if it was known by another name here, but it is also called Pieris in german. Glad to learn something new.

I didn’t see a common name either. I don’t think they are native to Oregon, maybe where they are native they have a more common name.
