Here is another tick bush in my backyard. This one is obviously a lot larger. Right now it has yellowish berries and the leaves are almost a reddish-orange and some tree deep inside. The leaves changes color depending on the time of year. They can be green to a maroon color.

A beautiful bush but why is it called a tick bush, I wonder. Probably totally unrelated to the blood-sucking ticks I think of! 😛
