This current series, which I call The Seasons and Elements. Hopefully this series will bring out our creative side with some unique perspectives and ways of looking at things. This week the topic is Autumn – Metal.
Autumn is the energy of Metal, the time when nature rids itself of what is not needed, when nature sheds its leaves and lets go of the rubbish it no longer needs. With those leaves it produces its own compost, enriching the soil, ensuring the next cycle has the nutrients it needs to grow.
Metal is about our own purity, our spiritual essence, our ability to have connection with a ‘heavenly father’. By giving us connection to the heavenly realms Metal helps us understand that we are more than the ‘day to day’ of life, that we are connected to ‘all that is’ and in that it is the source of our real self esteem. — 5 Elements of Nature
You can take photos of anything that relates to the season of Autumn or metal. For metal I would like to see its strength and beauty. Have fun with this challenge. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

I am really impressed with the drum, Cee. Your photo is beautiful and the drum itself is quite creative. As I look at the photo I have a strong desire to hear what it sounds like. Good job connecting the senses of sight and sound.
