Share Your World – May 8, 2017

Colorful socks.

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?

What was your favorite food when you were a child?

Are you a listener or talker?

Favorite thing to (pick one):  Photograph?  Write? Or Cook?

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

When you’re alone at home, do you wear shoes, socks, slippers, or go barefoot?  95% of the time I wear shoes.  I walk easiest in them.  Here is a photo of my shoes where you can see the scuff marks from when I fell down a couple of weeks ago on slippery moss.

What was your favorite food when you were a child?  Probably Macaroni and Cheese.  It is still one of my favorite dishes, but I don’t have it that often anymore and it doesn’t come out of a blue box either.

Are you a listener or talker?  I am more of a listener.  Although I’m starting to get enough self-confidence that I can hold my own in a conversation.  I will even ask some provoking questions too.

Favorite thing to (pick one):  Photograph?  Write? Or Cook?  If you know my blog at all.  You know I love to take photos.  Flowers would have to be real close to the top of my list.  But I am always on the lookout for those odd balls.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Last week was a great week.  The week was different than I thought it would be.  The weather got nice.  And on Saturday I had a nice qigong class.  Also Saturday morning we drove to the Schriener’s Irises and Adelman’s Peony Gardens to see how their gardens are progressing.  Not much in bloom yet, but with a warm and sunny week, they should start looking pretty for the next couple of weeks. It was a nice week.  Next week more of the same please.

Last week Chris and I never made it to the ocean just because our schedules changed and so did the weather.  But if you are reading my responses today (Monday) I am at the beach right now.  This is going real busy week.  Today the beach, Wednesday a Qigong session, Thursday we are getting out carpet cleaned.  We’ll see how this week goes.  But I suspect it will be wonderful.

  1. Enjoy the beach enough for me, please! And now that I’ve read your answers, I realize I may well have misinterpreted the question about photographing, writing, cooking. I may go add a comment for that. Love the header photo!

  2. The first thing I do when I get home is take off my shoes. I know it’s a bit late but I’m going to post something with these questions. We just got back last night from our mini vacation and today at work was, well, work. So maybe I can sneak some time in right now. 🙂
