Share Your World – May 15, 2017

Last photo taken with my cell phone.

How many languages do you you speak?

What are you reading, watching, listening to, eating?

What was the last photo you took with your phone?

What is your favorite time of day?

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

How many languages do you you speak?  American English.  I took German in High School and had a German Pen Pal for years.  I was fairly literate, but now 40 years later I only remember a few words.

What are you reading, watching, listening to, eating?

  • The basic thing I read is blogs.  I’m not a big reader.
  • Chris and I are enjoying watching the TV show JAG (military Judge Advocate General).  It’s a TV show about military lawyer.  We didn’t watch it when it was originally on.  It ran in the US for 10 years (1995 to 2005).
  • I’ve been listening to some of my old music from the 70s and folk songs from the 60s.  Yes, I am aging myself.  I also listen to tape from my spiritual leader.
  • Lately I’ve been eating and cooking a lot of whole grain waffles.  For me I make Oat and Sprouted Wheat, chia seeds and flax seeds.  Yummy.

What was the last photo you took with your phone?  See photo above.  The last photo I took on Chris’s cell phone is this sign.  And yes, both have been on my blog already so you  seeing them again.  Most of you already know that I don’t use my phone often for photos.

What is your favorite time of day?  I would say around 10:00 am or so.  I’m usually done with my blogging (or close to it) and in the summer you will most likely see me outside taking photos of flowers around the house and dahlia season at Swan Island Dahlias.  When I’m not taking photos, I just chill out and play a few games on my computer and relax and meditate.

Optional Bonus question:  What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

Last week was a busy busy week.  As you know Chris and I went to the beach.  Then on Wednesday I had my qigong appointment, on Thursday we got our carpets cleaned and we had to do a lot of cleaning to get the house cleared enough for the carpet cleaner to clean.  This week is a much more mellow week.

  1. I read blogs more than the books I listed but those are my reads for waiting rooms, car rider lines, or when I’m just too dang tired of looking at screens.

  2. I was a big fan of Jag and still occasionally tune in an old episode; it wears pretty well I think. Did you know they introduced some of the characters of NCIS on there late in its run? Watch for it 🙂

  3. We watched JAG a couple of years ago having ALSO missed the original. It was a really good show. I probably read more blogs than books these days, too … but I try to leave time for books, too. Garry doesn’t read a lot of books much these days, but he loves newspapers, especially sports.
