What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine?
What would you do if you won the lottery?
What makes you laugh the most?
What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology?
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.
To view older version of Share Your World (SYW), click here.
If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.
I will post four different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate.
- Create a SYW post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
- Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.
I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.
HERE ARE MY ANSWERS
What do you do when you’re not working? If you are retired, what do you that is not part of your regular daytime routine? I kind of fall between working and retired. I’ve not been strong enough for years to work an actual job. My job I consider the time I blog and play with the my photos. That is part of my daily routine. I do that the hours that Chris is working. The other part of the day is split between playing games and watching TV or going outside and doing a small photo shoot, especially in the summertime.
What would you do if you won the lottery? This is an easy one. The lottery would of course be one of the huge jackpots. Chris would immediately quit her job. We would probably go to Southern Oregon and look at places near the beach or redwoods and find a house. In the meantime, I would make sure my sister and her husband and niece were taken care of financially. Bills would be paid for and a place to live would be paid for. Same for Chris’s family siblings. I would make sure we had plenty of spreading around cash for people we just wanted to help out. And that could be anyone who gave us great service is a restaurant to someone whose house was destroyed in a storm. Once Chris and I get settled in Southern Oregon, we’d get a trailer and just travel the US and maybe parts of Canada. We’d split our time between travel and our new home.
What makes you laugh the most? Right now Chris and I are watching old reruns of the TV show Friends. I laugh a lot watching that show.
What is your biggest pet peeve with modern technology? One word automatic SPELLCHECK. It sucks for the most part. It does make for creative sentences though.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I walked so much for me last week. I even walked a little on a real trail with dirt beneath my feet. It felt so good. I didn’t go far, but it is the first time I was alone on a trail in years. It’s fun finally being strong enough to start moving again. This week I am tired though, I probably won’t be as active as last week at least for today and maybe tomorrow. But I’m feeling good.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee
All hail the dirt trail! Wonderful 🙂 I hope you have a great week, Cee!

Hahah, I love how you say spellcheck is your pet peeve! I must say it is mighty annoying. It keeps making weird words on my work phone and then I have to send extra text messages explaining what I meant :O

Yep I have to do that every now and again.

Traveling around in an RV would be cool. We see people park in the Walmart parking lot here overnight just because they were driving and got tired. I think the class C RV would fit us best. I really would not want to pull a trailer through Houston. The class C would mean we would not have to go outside in the weather to set up. Just turn the driver’s chair around, and you are home. You can see my post over at Random Thoughts and Observations..

I think it is great that you were able to go out walking on a trail on your own. It must be wonderful to live in a place safe enough to do that and even more so, to be well enough to do that! What a blessing. 🙂
Here’s my link for this week: Share Your World.
Have a blessed week.

since i just had to disconnect and reconnect my “convertible notebook” keyboard five times, while throwing it against the bed instead of a wall (my instinct), I’m gonna to with “shitty hardware connections” as my technology answer.
glad you got outside. today was my first time out in roughly 5 days, for no reason other than not being able to think of anything i wanted to do that didn’t cost a lot of money (everything I did today cost money)

Good to hear that you are feeling so well. I guess for most of us winning the lottery is freedom to do the things we like doing best whenever we want not just when we can.

The older I get, the less money I see as needed for “us.” Seriously, how much money does ANYONE need? That’s why I don’t understand the “super corporations” who just can’t stop squeezing ever bit of money out of every customer. For what? Why?

All you need to do is put my URL in your blog. I know that works for WordPress people. I noticed you are using my SYW Page as the link. Make sure you use my weekly post and then it will automatically do a pingback. For example, this week my URL is: https://ceenphotography.com/2017/06/12/share-your-world-june-12-2017/

Life’s been a bit crazy with the end of the school year, so I’m playing catch up tonight. Here are my response to this week and last week. I love spellcheck, but I dislike auto-prediction, so much so that I turn it off whenever I can. I am getting used to it when writing e-mails on my tablet though, because I find that a challenge.
