Row of porta-potties at the iris festival.
This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of. This week the topic is Bathrooms or Outhouses. Some fancy hotels and restaurants can have the most beautiful bathrooms. Go see what interesting things you can come up with in your own bathroom, any bathroom or bathroom fixture. See how creative you can get on this challenge. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.
The Current Series – Odd Twists

My Entry for the Week

Where old toilets go to die.

Row of porta-potties at the iris festival.

Shower head.

Bathtub at a fancy hotel.

My toilet paper roll.
Qi (energy) hugs,
Cee
What would be perfect would be a bathtub/shower with a window looking out to the ocean. Then perhaps I’d be willing to sit in a hot, bubbly bath for awhile.

That photo was taken at The Cannery in Astoria. 😀

I am sure we use the same sort of toilet roll, even the colour is the same 🙂

I’m so glad you always post a few pictures at the start of each challenge. It helps me think of things to take. Haven’t come up with anything yet though. 😊

I have to check out every bathroom wherever we go. Is that odd?

I always take my camera into bathrooms. I have door handles, windows, wall hangings, tile and in port-potties, screws and angles of the plastic. Have some fun.

Greetings Cee! The dual showers and bathtub look good. I always wanted a bathroom specifically a shower or tub with multiple shower heads and a built in Jacuzzi! I want a lot don’t I? LOL!! Here is my entry: https://dancingpalmtrees.com/2017/07/11/cees-fun-foto-challenge-bathrooms-or-outhouses/

Yeah, those festival porta-potties, they are real eye candy – but necessary. I like your shot of the toilet roll, the bend up last sheet gives it something sassy. 😀

I just realised that you had the same theme on “black and white” pretty much a year ago (I don’t mind at all – it gave me reason to go back for another look!). The painted toilet seats fascinated me even then: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2016/08/19/wcs-with-water-and-without/

Your photos are great – my favorite is the one of the discarded porcelain toilets stacked up behind a fence. My contribution for the week is https://wordpress.com/post/amoralegria.com/100460.
