Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Gears and Engines

Vintage car engine

This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of.  This week the topic is Gears and Engines.  Cars and the gears of a clock are obvious for this week’s topic.  Let’s see how creative you can get on this challenge.  Use your imagination for this theme.  The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.

Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

  1. I absolutely love the lawn ornament, Cee. It will only get better (and more photogenic) over time.

  2. You’ve got beautiful gears. Those clock gears are perfect. I’m amazed that wooden gears would keep time.

Since it’s raining again and I’m not getting outside for the moment, I figure this would be a good opportunity to show off some of my least attractive pictures of the canal locks. They are interesting … but mostly, not lovely.

    • Oh that clock was so beautiful. The lighting was crappy and I didn’t know enough to fix it in my camera. The wall a dull gray-tan didn’t help either. 😀
