Here is my entry for Frank’s over to Dutch Goes the Photo Blog Tuesday Photo Challenge – Woods.
Where I live in Oregon, if left in its natural conditions, everywhere would be covered by forests. Douglas Fir being one of the main trees.

Rest stop that was cut though a forest of Douglas Fir on I-25 south of Portland, Oregon.

A country road cut though the forest near Estacada, Oregon (winter time in Oregon).

Road cut through a Douglas Fir forest on Highway 26 near (Elsie Oregon).

Great post! I love Douglas firs, as they are so majestic and beautiful

I adore them. Between where I live and the 90 miles to the beach it is almost all Douglas Fir. 😀

Great pictures, as always. Someday my photo library may be as extensive as yours (I hope).
