This series I call Odd Twists meaning we are looking for the bizarre and the common things we don’t always take photos of. This week the topic is Hallways. Hallways come in all sizes and uses. They are usually thought of as indoor, but don’t forget about hallways that are outdoors and underground. Hallways usually have some great repetitive lines and shapes. Use your imagination for this theme. The thing is to have a lot of fun with this challenge.
Go through you photo archives and see what photos you have that fits the current week’s challenge, or better yet grab you camera and take a new photo! ENJOY and have FUN.

Great images …. as always – my pick is the last image … Elevator building?????

The building is strictly for an elevator that travel up a short mountain cliff up to the next street about 100 feet up.

I’m a fan of the underground hallway too. Love the textures of the old bricks.

Love that old brick underground hallway, especially with the damp leaves at the edges. Lots of those, all over the world, and always kinda scary.

This one isn’t scary … although from this angle it sure looks like it is. 😀

I’m thinking that the City Elevator is not just an elevator or lift as we say. Is it a former grain storage unit? We call them silos and I’ve seen converted ones. Here is my entry.

No it is actually an elevator which goes up the side of a cliff. It is the only elevator that has a street name attached to to.
