MY ENTRY THIS WEEK

This week was a hard week for me to get new photos.  With the fire smoke (yesterday being the worst day yet) I’ve been staying inside and quite still for me.  I’m making it through pretty good though.

All photos were taken with my Sony a7II Full Frame Mirrorless – handheld.  I used my Sony FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 G OSS lens.

So yesterday I took this clock photo.  It is in our living room.  It actually fits snuggly between two open spaces in a hallway that leads to Chris’s office.  It helps let light into the hallway from our living room.

This photo I took outside in my front yard.  We had a tree that was diseased cut down a few years ago and now the bark on the stump is peeling away.

My neighbors wind vanes in his front yard.  They are actually quite colorful.

Back inside though house.  Our cat Charlie (left) and Freddie (right) sleeping on a chair in my office.Qi (energy) hugs

  1. I like how defined the bark pealing off the tree stump is! So much variation of textures and detail! (And the cats are fur is SO fuzzy and soft looking!!! )

  2. I hope the smoke clears soon. I hope the fires get under control. 😦 It’s always fun to see “colorful” items like the planes in black and white. Gives them a whole different character.

  3. Innovative wind vanes are and they look so good, even in black and white. I’m sure they are more amazing in colors.
Nice to meet Charlie and Freddie 🙂

  4. I thought the tree stump and flowers was my favorite photo until I saw the kitties.
I live in a no pet building. I miss having a cat to keep me company.

    • I will take your rain. I so miss it. We usually don’t get a lot of rain this time of year (September it starts again). But we’ve not hard any rain for nearly two months. 😀

  5. Can no one compete with those cats. I went out in the rain (there is a compliment to you right there, Cee – you made me go out in the wet) and I had a specific subject for a new photo in mind (I did take it and it will pop up soon, probably as oddball) but then I was distracted by a completely different subject.
