Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Small Subjects

Small goat and small girl.

This week the topic is Small Subjects.  This week your photos should be of objects that are smaller in size.  And yes, size comparisons can be made.  Size is a matter of perspective.   I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

Upcoming Topics

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • Shadows
  • Texture
  • Candid Shots (human or animal)
  • Back of Things
  • Lines and Angles
  • All Things Farm Related

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

I hope you have FUN a lot of fun with this challenge.

  1. Some way little things. Taken at night, and the details in the stone patio made it hard to make the ants stand out. Thought sepia helped a bit. Fascinating little creatures that can strip a tree overnight!!! Not the best photos, but . . . judydykstrabrown.com/2017/08/18/small-world/
