No, it really is just one weird one. The flowers on this particular type of dahlia (Ryan C) really varies on each bloom. One of my favorites.

Like you, I love Dahlias in all their varieties but it seems that here, so do the darn earwigs. They are the bane of my existence. But I’m glad you share yours with us. Here is a tiger lily for your enjoyment.
