What color do you feel most comfortable wearing?
What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie)
List at least five favorite flowers or plants.
What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.
Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.
To view older version of Share Your World (SYW), click here.
If you adore challenges as much as I do, please check out WordPress’s Blog Event Listing for other challenges.
I will post four different questions each week for you to answer. There are two ways which you can participate.
- Create a SYW post. Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
- To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
- Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.
I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.
HERE ARE MY ANSWERS
What color do you feel most comfortable wearing? Earth tones for the most part. I wear a lot of brown, maroon, orange and green. I really don’t have a color anymore. If I had the body and money, I would wear bright colors and royal blues. A true royal blue is hard to come by though.
What is your favorite type of dog? (can be anything from a specific breed, a stuffed animal or character in a movie) As most of you know we have had pugs for years, so obviously pugs are on the top of that list. I’ve also had a Newfoundland and a St Bernard and love the big dogs too. I just like dogs. I just don’t want a small yippie dog.
List at least five favorite flowers or plants. [Note: I thought I’d add this question since seasons are changing. For us in the northern hemisphere our flower season is winding down and in the southern hemisphere it should be close to starting.]
- Dahlias
- Bearded Iris
- Waterlily and lotus
- Rhododendrons
- Hydrangea
- Pampus Grass
- Tulips and Daffodils
- Peony
My list could go on forever.
What inspired you this past week? Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. I don’t want to sound stuck up, but I think I have inspired me this week. Most of you know I’ve been working on getting my body back in shape. With the smoke this last month, it has slowed down a bit, but I’m actually able to do some things around the house I’ve not had the strength to do until recently. Like yesterday, I was able to do laundry and clean the kitchen and never got out of breathe or tired. And with the smoke that is filling the air that is wonderful. Our new air filters seem to working as long as I stay inside.

That is not being stuck up, Cee! That is confidence I hear, and I love it. Glad you are staying inside and feeling good about yourself.

I don’t think it is stuck-up to inspire yourself! That sounds like the best kind of inspiration, really. 🙂

We seem to be on the same wave length with cleaning. Last week I managed to complete my usual routine and I felt so good afterwards.

The wondrous scent of the Yesterday Today and Tomorrow bushes are beginning to waft over from our neighbour’s garden. That is the sign that spring has really arrived here in South Africa 🙂

Hope the smoky air eases up so you feel better. They say today we are getting some of the outflow of the smoke and fires, even down here, so it is all hazy out there, right now.

Stay safe and inside today. You don’t need to be breathing in that smoke. 😀
