Here is my entry for Frank’s over to Dutch Goes the Photo Blog Tuesday Photo Challenge – Water.
One of the nasty fires that is burning fairly close to where I live is the Columbia Gorge. That is where the famous Multnomah Falls is located. Firefighters are trying to the lodge at Multnomah Fall as I write this post. For more information on the fires and photo click here.
Here are some photos I’ve taken at Multnomah Falls over the years.

The fires are awful to watch. Here’s to the well being of those fighting them or in their path. Stay safe, Cee. 😕

I should be safe from fires….at least from those that are currently burning.

Fantastic shots.
The fires are terrifying though. Here’s hoping for a speedy end to it and no injuries. Stay safe!

These fires are scary. And I’ve live where there are wildfires before. But nothing like what is going on in the Pacific Northwest right now.

Beautiful! I still haven’t been there. Too smoky!

They are saying the Columbia Gorge fire won’t be put out for at least a month. It’s only 5% contained.

Sorry to hear that. Smoky here in Bend because of several fires. I am getting cabin fever. 😑

I hear you on the cabin fever. The air cleared for a few hours (yippie) and I did get out a little bit today.

Cee. great photos of Multnomah Falls. I used waterfalls photos for this Challenge also. One of them is Multnomah Falls, but it’s not as good as yours, taken on a day with a big crowd.

I don’t even get my camera out if there are too many people. 😀

Yes, I know. Sometime I stand at a position to wait for a clear view, especially when going sightseeing, because I might not go to that place again!

It’s good to see familiar photos of some of my old hangouts. I understand y’all are going through a lot of forest fires down the Columbia River Gorge this summer so that explains the slight haze over the area where Multnomah Falls is located. Photoshop has a great haze/fog filter in its RAW editor that would remove that haze. I love to see your work these days Cee. You’ve come a long way in the past five years or so.
