  1. When people know you’re taking a photo of them, most of them end up with a frozen idiotic grin on their face… (I’m not any better myself, in fact…!).

But when I try to catch them unawares, they:
    a) they cover the lens with their hands
    b) raise a book to hide their face and I get a photo of a book cover
    c) spin around faster than a whirling dervish and present their back
    d) move and the picture comes out blurry!

I’ve taken pictures of some butterflies instead in the Butterfly House of the National History Museum and some of them even came out sharp – but I can’t think in what way I could possibly incorporate a post with photos of butterflies into my blog. Anybody here knows a butterfly related book that I could ostensibly blog about?

  3. Your candid shots are fabulous. My candid shots have been hit and miss. When it comes to people, I think I should try continuous shooting. I’ll probably forget. 😊

  4. Although the BBQ looks yummy, the mummy taking the family photo is my favorite this week, Cee. The tilted sunglasses on the little girl and her expression are priceless.

  5. Candid Photography is a favourite of mine. When I’m taking professional photos (Weddings/Events), I much prefer capturing the moments people don’t know are happening, as opposed to getting everyone to smile and say cheese… There’s a magic in candid photography, of moments and memories overlooked.
