Share Your World – September 25, 2017

Me on a cruise down the Columbia River (several years ago now). This area is where the big fire is in Oregon.

What is your favorite outdoor activity?

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

What is your favorite outdoor activity?  In the past it has been staring out at the ocean or any body of water or taking photographs.  I’m still kind of there, but starting to think about camping and hiking again, since I’m starting to move better all the time.  Don’t worry, I’ll still have my camera with me wherever I go.

In a car would you rather drive or be a passenger?  Depends.  In any city larger than 100,000 people, definitely a passenger.  Out on the open roads or small country roads, the driver’s seat.  Although Chris will drive when I’m on a photoshoot and we are looking for odd balls or landscapes to capture.

If you could have three wishes granted for you alone, what would they be?  Yes, I am remembering this is the world of SYW, so anything is possible.

  • Lose my extra weight
  • Get rid of my diabetes and daily shots
  • Automatically know Vedic Astrology

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. I really didn’t have an inspiring week last week or one filled with appreciation.

However, I did appreciate learning more about astrology and spending time with Chris.

Even though last week was not the best for me, I know deep down inside all is well and my life will return to my happy easy going place.  I have a way of turning what appears to be bad I’ll turn it into good.  I don’t stay down long.  That part of me just inspires to keep going, because good things and time is just around the bend or even in the next minute.

      1. I seem to be the one always doing it. My absolute “favorite” was my first time driving in New York City- my son and I arrived during rush hour and found ourselves in the middle of Times Square. Fun times!

  1. I’m sorry you didn’t have a good week last week but you sound like you definitely are in a good place mentally. Life does have ups and downs and you have to learn how to let things go. I don’t mean just you. It was a lesson I had difficulty learning but finally have.

  3. I have to ask this question which has been on my mind a lot, do you carry your camera everywhere you go? If you do, how do you ensure it doesn’t get bumped around? I love the wonderful photos you take (I still use my camera phone) and am itching to try my hand at a real camera, but am not sure if I can actually carry a camera with me wherever I go; read: very very klutzy.

Hope you have a better week ahead!
