Share Your World – October 9, 2017

From a google search

What do you consider is the most perfect food for you? (It can be your favorite food to something extremely healthy.)

Are you focused on today or tomorrow?

If you could interview one of your great-great-great grandparents, who would it be (if you know their name) and what would you ask?

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.

Even though I oftentimes will add photos to my answers, it is not a requirement to participate in Share your World.

I will post four different questions each week for you to answer.  There are two ways which you can participate.

  1. Create a SYW  post.  Then post the link to your blog in my comment box or leave your answers in the comments box of my blog.
  2. To make it easy for others to check out your photos, title your blog post “Share Your World” or “SYW” tag.
  3. Remember to Follow My Blog to get your weekly reminders.

I usually will respond to your entry on your blog, rather than on my page.

HERE ARE MY ANSWERS

Chia seeds.

What do you consider is the most perfect food for you?   (It can be your favorite food to something extremely healthy.)  Perfect healthy foods for me would probably be my waffles with whole grain flours, chia and flax seeds or my vegetable/juice drinks I make with spinach or kale, grapefruit juice, goji berries, cinnamon, maca powder, cocoa power, and wheat grass.  Otherwise if I’m feeling like I need salt, usually anything with melted cheese, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwich or pizza.

Are you focused on today or tomorrow?  I would like to think I’m more focused on today.  Although no doubt I do get stuck thinking about tomorrow sometimes.

If you could interview one of your great-great-great grandparents, who would it be (if you know their name) and what would you ask?  It would be from my mother’s father side of the family.  Rumor has it that they have been in the US for quite a long while and they were explorers.  Possibly as part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition or even earlier.  I’ve not been able to verify it.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination.   I’m not sure what inspired this week, but I sure did get back to exercising at nearly the level I was prior to all the smoke from the fires that halted me in August and September.   It felt really good.  I also made some of waffles with nut for Chris and a batch for me.  We are really enjoying them.  So ultimately I guess me feeling better and healthier is my inspiration for this past week.

  1. Your choice of food is way healthier than mine. 🙂 But that grilled cheese looks good. Also, it’s nice to breathe air without smoke, isn’t it? ^_^

  3. I really is hard to figure out how to talk to people when you have no idea where they lived or what they did. I don’t even have a hint of family history and while DNA will give me other information, I’m pretty sure it won’t tell me what they did for a living. This stuff will always be a mystery, I think.

  4. Your grilled cheese photo just grabbed my heart – and my salivary glands. I am going to bake some of my current favorite bread today – the bread with herbes de France – so I think when it is done, I’ll make myself a grilled cheese sandwich, maybe with a combination of cheddar, Monterey Jack, and Mozzarella. That could even be dinner, or part of dinner!
