Here are a few photos took this week at various times.
This photo I took driving around Canby, Oregon.
I ended up taking all these photos in my yard.

All 4 are beautiful images. How lucky are we to have all this beauty close to or in our own back yards? 🙂
The trouble with pretty little Pampas Grass stands (apart from the leaves which are like razor blades and will cut you as soon as look at you!) is that they very quickly turn into large, unruly Pampas Grass Stands which are extremely hard to remove. ( Short of burning them down at the end of Summer and borrowing a mate’s back-hoe to dig out the roots). 😉

I’m so glad we can grow campus grass here in Oregon. I love it…despite its razor blade edges.

Wonderful fall images, Cee. The pampas grass reminds me of South Africa, although in latter years it has become so invasive that it’s now classed as a noxious weed. I think it’s really attractive.

Lovely Cee. I’ve been snapping away all month! For Marilyn…we definitely have Autumn up here, and I have enjoyed a personal, years long Fall Foto competition with a dear friend in Maine. Now you have all inspired me to post some of the colorful scenes from this week!

I’m surprised you get such a lovely, bright autumn. I didn’t think our northwest got a “real” autumn. Beautiful!

The fires this year has made the reds and oranges brilliant. The yellows are pale, but …..

Love the last photo, Cee. I’ve always had a fondness for that fluffy grass-like plant, but don’t know it’s name. 🙂

I believe it’s called pampas grass. Incidentally, in South Africa it is prohibited to be sold because it is considered to be invasive.
