This week the topic is Bricks or Stones. This topic is fairly self-explanatory. Let’s see how creative you can get with this topic. I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post. I just want you to have some fun with your photography.
Feel free to dig around in your archives for photos if you don’t have anything new you can photograph.

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:
- Black and white photography
- Sepia tones (browns)
- Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
- Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

My favorite was the sepia toned cemetery headstones but I got so busy this week that when I was doing mine at the last minute, I forgot to include some of my cemetery photos… 🙂 Maybe I’ll include them for “Alone and Abandoned.”

I never thought of using the head stones in a cemetary and I’ve taken tons of photos of those. I really like the house and the chimney.

House number 1101 looks exactly like the house I lived in for ten years in New York … except it was brick. Same shape, turrets, everything. Makes me nostalgic.

A great theme for b&w – al that texture. Nice brickwork here, Cee – that great chimney in your first shot looks immense and more dominant than the house.
