Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge: Transformation (Chicks into Chickens/Roosters)

Here is my entry for WordPress Daily Post Weekly Challenge with the topic of Transformation.

Our local Wilco (farm food and equipment) store each spring has new chicks of all sorts.  They are so cute and adorable.  They are under special warming lights with a heavy pink hue and that make photography almost impossible.  But both Chris and I love going to see these cute little chicks.

Chickens come in so many varieties and colors.  Here a few of my favorite photos.  These photos were all taken at Bauman Farms near Woodburn, Oregon.

  3. Everytime I go to our local Grange Co-op when they have chicks, I think I should have chickens. Then reality sets in. Love your photos.

  8. They are so cute when they’re little. We’ve had lots of chickens over the years. The oldest one was at least 7. Thanks for the great pictures! Happy Turkey Day tomorrow. 😀
