MY ENTRY THIS WEEK
Bird houses (feeders) on a front yard step. Photo taken in Canby, Oregon.
An old mansion that is need of some repair. They are actually working on it last time I drove by.
Modern day outhouse.
A house that needs a lot of help. Photo taken at the iris festival.
Qi (energy) hugs
Cee

I love the photo of the old mansion. It looks grand (used to) but still is dwarfed by the trees and the huge sky! My houses are mostly from town, i.e. they have direct neighbours: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2017/12/07/walls-and-beams/

I like the photo of the old mansion, but my favorite photo is the last one with the lonely house.

Any old house that is abandoned catches my attention, and if its from the late 1800’s, well that is even better. I found this Gem in Central Oregon Near Dufur.

Cee – I adore the touches of whimsy you’ve captured in each picture – the chicken in the first, small garden house in the second, flowers on the outhouse, and the touch of purple to class up the old house in the last! Great job as usual. Here’s my entry for the week: http://www.quaintrevival.com/a-gorge-of-sorts-oh-and-some-houses/

The mansion contrast very nicely with the sky, Cee. Love that one especially. And the bird houses are cute!
For this week’s challenge I chose the stately old houses of Mechelen in Belgium: https://figmentsofadutchess.com/2017/12/08/cbw-houses/
Have a great weekend. *hugs*

Love your mansion, I have one like that, but can’t find it. I do have a doozy for next time though. This is a barn/house we once built for an artist. Abject Muse was my muse today, after seeing this prompt on their blog.

Thanks, Cee… that building was a lot of fun to build. (It’s red, btw) After, I found the house I couldn’t find, so I’m going to do one with that too… here it is… on Orcas Island near Eastsound. https://tedstrutz.com/2017/12/08/haunted-house-on-orcas/
