Frozen grass

St John Bridge at Cathedral Park, Portland in the Winter.
Snow on our trash dumpster and handles of a storage shed.Qi (energy) hugs

It was practically spring on the East Coast today–but I deserve it after spending a fortnight of my winter break freezing upstate (I don’t think the mercury rose into the double digits Fahrenheit the for over a week and it was below freezing all but my first day there.) I was certainly chilled! https://pastriespicspolitics.wordpress.com/2018/02/21/frozen-cbw/.

The frozen grass looks like delicate glass crystals on a chandelier. I love them all but that one is my favorite.

I’m just starting to get the hang of what you are looking for in your challenges. Today’s photos were all taken with my ipad, except for the girl and Olaf. I’ll get in for a few close ups next time. Thank you for checking it out! Your photos are awesome.

February in New England? And you want chilled? We got that. Garry took all the really good chilled pictures this season, so these are his. And I see you actually got snow this year. At least you didn’t need a plow to get out of the driveway. Overall, this hasn’t been a really bad snow year for us, either. So far, so good!!

These are actually all old photos. We’ve not even had a flake of snow in Canby. 😀

I love the picture of the bridge. I can feel not only the cold but also the stillness, very artistic!

Love your pictures, especially the bridge. There’s a solitude in it I find peaceful. In thanks, I share with you our brief Raleigh Winter:

Hi Cee, you know, as long as we can see you, there’s not enough snow. But I will admit, you have more snow than we do. So far we’ve only had one blizzard and only a few snow falls of an inch or two. But we’ve had almost two months of bitter cold. Bet we bit you there. ;0)

All so cold and good. The one of the dumpster shows up on the WordPress reader in a way that mde it look to me like a white chichen leaning to peck at something dark–I worried about the poor cold thing until I saw the photo enlarged and noncropped!

Strange what cropping can do at times. 😀

I love the grass blades. And the moody photo of the bridge, the alignment is great. I’m a day late for Valentine’s Day: https://picturesimperfectblog.wordpress.com/2018/02/15/cold-cold-heart/

Up north they do. My daughter, in Umeå with surroundings, has got 100-175 cm now. Here the maximum is about 50 cm. During my lifetime at least 😉

175 cm is way too much for me. 😀

I am happy with 30 cm. Enough to make winter!
