Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: February 18, 2018

Welcome to my Odd Ball Challenge.  This challenge is for those photos you take that don’t really fit into any common category.  There is never a theme to this challenge, so what is an odd ball is all up for you to discover and photograph.

I hope that you have a lot of fun with this challenge!  To read more about Odd Ball photos click here.

My Entry for the Week

This is a new food choice at our super market.  It is freeze dried food displayed like a buffet bar, but in frozen tubs.  As far as I am concerned the food doesn’t look good and I personally don’t feel like it is likely to be heathy or fresh.

  1. First let me say: your odd ball challenges cause me to look for odd ball situations!!! Love it. I once found a pile of CDs in the train station, like someone just dumped them out before boarding the train. I should post that one!! Secondly, the food industry is constantly coming up with new ways to mess around with food!! This one is new to me.

  2. That’s a bit strange. Why would you freeze food that is so easy to make from scratch? The only food I buy frozen is fish, especially shrimp because you can’t buy fresh shrimp in this part of the world. Frozen is fine — especially since I will freeze it anyway. But who wants frozen mac and cheese? Great pictures. I don’t think I’d buy it either.

  3. That is bizarre, more so than the first time I saw those freeze-dried ice cream balls at the movie theater. But this, haha, I’d probably try the mac n cheese just to see. Nice wide angle, almost fisheye shot.
My guest cat had a weird look on his face this week that I thought was pretty funny and I wondered how many pets out in a snowstorm would obey the No Pets sign at the beach.
