Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge: Words with double letters

This week the topic is Words with double letters, such as sweep, rubber, bookkeepping, teeter totter, vacuum, etc.  It can be a man made structure or nature made.  Let’s see how creative you can get.  I’m looking forward to what you all decide to post.  I just want you to have some fun with your photography.

Upcoming Topics

For a list of upcoming topics, please see the list below.  Be creative and challenge yourself.  For a great black and white photo look for contrast or highly textured subjects to photograph.

  • Large Subjects
  • Bikes of Any Kind
  • Heads or Facial Features (human or animal)
  • Store Front Signs
  • Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles
  • Older than 50 years

This challenge accepts the following types of photography:

  • Black and white photography
  • Sepia tones (browns)
  • Selective color with the majority of the photo being in black and white
  • Desaturated – very little color tone left in your photo

  2. I love the giraffe. Hoping to take my photos tomorrow so I can post them on the week end. The window is an interesting one too.

  4. I love the giraffe Cee.
    This was a hard one to think of words for – some how my head doesn’t seem to register double letters! But I chose seaweed in the end. Just need to finish my words.

  5. Your giraffe reminded me of a poem by Jacques Prévert, called Mea culpa:
    Mea culpa
    C’est ma faute
    C’est ma faute
    Cest ma très grande faute d’orthographe
    Voilà comment j’écris
    Giraffe.
    In French, giraffe spells with only one f – you would not have been able to use it in this challenge 🙂
    And I love that ship (boat?) with the hills in the background.
